DC Mutual Aid Apothecary (Herb distro + clinic, education, community support & resources)

The DC Mutual Aid Apothecary (DCMA) is a community-based project that provides herbal products, education and healthcare access to an intergenerational community in Washington DC. Our mission is to connect our community to accessible plant medicine and education, reconnect to our ancestral plant knowledge while sharing herbal traditions and distributing free herbal products. We primarily do this through our community medicine making workshops and distribution pop ups as well as our cohort program training community herbalists.

Atlanta Herb Collective (Co-op, peer support, other: We coordinate and amplify local educational offering but don’t exclusively offer them)

Atlanta Herb Collective is a collective of herbalists, growers, and herb enthusiasts with values rooted in accessibility, mutual aid, and non -hierarchy. AHC formed with the goal of establishing a network of resources to address gaps in supply chains, strengthen local herbal infrastructure and in turn heal ourselves alongside the land. Fleur + Forage Free Clinic (Herb clinic)

At the Fleur + Forage Mobile Herbal Clinic we believe that holistic healthcare is a basic need that needs to be accessible to everyone.
Through our monthly herbal clinic and additional pop-ups, we focus on providing care for marginalized populations in Atlanta and its surrounding neighborhoods. Our remedies consist of a mix of herbal preparations, supplements and foods. All the herbal remedies are made in house by several local herbalists, including apprentices and practicing herbalists. Alongside the herbal portion of the clinic, there is an acupuncturist, a massage therapist, a mental health practitioner (who offers mindfulness meditation and art therapy sessions) and Reiki practitioner. All services are offered free of charge to all participants.

Visit: Clinics every last Thursday of the month at Mercy Community Church (off of Ponce de Leon Ave and Charles Ave) from 10AM to 12:30PM, except for July. For more pop-ups look at website: www.fleurandforage.com/events
Additional info: We set-up outside, rain or shine (except if it is thundering than we cancel), there are a couple of volunteers who are fluent in Spanish and 1 person is fluent in French. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot or on adjacent streets.
